SEMH Teacher KS3/4
As an SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, developing learning plans that meet EHCP outcomes for each student, and providing pastoral support. You will work closely with the teaching assistant to monitor the progress of the students and ensure that they are receiving the support they need.
Must have the ability to teach GCSE Maths and English
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. If you are looking for a new challenge and want to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, then this could be an ideal role for you.
Other Information
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an SEMH Teacher to join Sutton House Academy. The role would suit a qualified teacher or an individual with experience of working with pupils experiencing SEMH difficulties.
Pupils are low level KS3/KS4
The school is seeking an individual who is passionate about helping students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties to reach their full potential. The class size is small and you will be supported by a teaching assistant. This means that you will have the opportunity to adapt learning to each pupil and create a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn and progress.
